I have gone through this book “Man’s Search for Meaning by Viktor E. Frankl. Dr. Frankl is one of the survivors of Auschwitz concentration camp. He was a neurologist and psychologist. His writings have been called the most important contributions in the field of psychotherapy.

The first part of the book deals with author’s experience in the concentration camp and the second is about the application of his theory “Logotherapy”. In the concentration camp, he observed the actions and reactions of inmates, the brutality which had been faced by every prisoner in the camp. He depicted his personal experiences and observations of human changes. After reading this book, you will understand the factual meaning of life and will realize how thankless we have become towards the mercies and blessings Allah (SWT) has given us.

In gist, I would strongly recommend this book to those who love reading and especially to those who have lost hope and have given up on their lives. Usually we are not grateful for what we have but when we lost them, we demur. We can find meaning in every aspect of life. I hope, after reading this book, you would find meaning and purpose of life and would be thankful to Allah for having so many blessings.
